This enhanced-infrared imagery from the GOES East satellite shows a developing, non-tropical low pressure system in the Atlantic Ocean. According to the National Hurricane Center, the storm system is located northeast of Turks and Caicos and is expected to slowly intensify. A subtropical or tropical cyclone could form during the next couple of days while the low moves northward.
